“I was really there!” Game immersion at its best
It’s been way too long since my last entry, but better late than never (and other suitable cliché’s) for this one.

It can be an extremely satisfying experience when you’re standing at the top of a tall Gothic styled building and looking down at a group of thugs below. You then jump straight down and into the middle of the thugs and before they can yell “It’s the Batman!!” you’ve already taken them out with some brutal melee moves that send them flying to the ground. You are the goddamn Batman and you love it. That’s the feeling I got while playing Batman: Arkham Asylum and it really does impress me how far this game goes to make you feel like the dark knight. There are many games that feature established characters like Batman, and sure, they do feature their trademark moves and gear, though few manage to make you feel like you really are that character and can pull off all of their moves just like how it’s done in their TV show or movie or whatever.
Super Twilight Lynk
First of all, if the site is looking really jumbled for you right now, I suggest you hit refresh or ctrl-refresh to get the new images and CSS loaded properly. If things are still looking strange, try clearing the cache of your browser.

Now that that’s out of the way… Welcome to Super Twilight Lynk!
Okay, it’s just the regular Twilight Lynk and nothing has really changed except for a few small things… I just thought it would be cool to add “Super” to the front of the title to make it sound like “OMG WOW!”…
As you can see, there’s been a change in design though it’s not as drastic as it may look. All I really did was change a few CSS elements and a couple of images and there ya go lol. The site layout is exactly the same as how it’s always been so don’t worry, you won’t get lost. This is just a bit of a cosmetic change… because I felt like it. Along with the redesign I’ve also taken the time to update the software that powers this site as well, though you guys probably don’t care about any of that… just as long as everything runs.
If you have any questions or comment or whatever, let me know. Don’t be afraid to tell me what you want me to do with this place if you guys have any good ideas I’m probably not thinking of…
Thanks, and enjoy!
Silly Gaming Habits
A lot of articles recently have been created with Resident Evil 5 as the inspiration and this one is yet another one to add to that list.

Jeff and I have just played through Resident Evil 5 in co-op mode on the Veteran difficulty. It was our first run through of the game and we did pretty damn well since we didn’t know what to expect… during our play through, I did notice a very funny and very silly habit that Jeff has…
Fun? On my Xbox Live?
Usually when you think of Xbox Live, you immediately think of a great online gaming network filled with whiny, arrogant and down right abusive people who are usually teenagers. In some instances that is very much true and you will come across that kind of horror in many of the games you play… however, I had some very interesting experiences lately while playing the Resident Evil 5 demo that I want to share with you guys.

Capcom was nice enough to include a feature in Resident Evil 5 where you are able to play through the game in co-op mode with a person you don’t know… this is a great feature which is common nowadays in a lot of games though I haven’t really tried it until now.
