Lynk designs

To many around the net, I am known as Lynk Former.
I am the creator, webmaster and also the designer of Twilight Lynk, as well as some other web sites and forums, past and present, around the net.
Below, you will find information about some of the work I’ve done involving web design as well as a gallery full of images that I’ve created… and possibly some other stuff as well.
Contents
Web Design
I’ve spent a lot of time and effort designing and maintaining web sites. Some of the ones listed are my own web sites, and some are ones I’ve designed for others.
Anime Crisis Center, The

www.thecrisiscenter.net (no longer online)
The Anime Crisis Center was the web site I ran before I opened up Twilight Lynk. It evolved from The Bubblegum Crisis Center into a more general anime based web site but kept The Bubblegum Crisis site as an attached network site in a sub domain along with some other sites including Cloud Age Symphony. TACC ran for many years and also had a community in The Anime Crisis Center Community Forums which we called “C3F” for short. I learned a lot from running that web site, however, my interest in anime has since faded and running a site of that scale was too difficult for me and it has now closed down.
Bubblegum Crisis Center, The

bgcc.thecrisiscenter.net (no longer online)
The Bubblegum Crisis Center was dedicated to the Bubblegum Crisis series of animes and was my first successful web site. I had quite a lot of resources to draw from which made the site such a success and a lot of people who went there will remember it as one of the best Bubblegum Crisis resources on the net. BGCC went through quite a few design changes. I have the last two designs for the site pictured above.
Cloud Age Symphony

exile.thecrisiscenter.net (no longer online)
Cloud Age Symphony was a small and very much incomplete web site dedicated to the anime, Last Exile. I created and maintained this site myself, though I wish I had the time to work on it because I had quite a lot of information and media to post up. Unfortunately, due to Last Exile not having much of a fan base, the justification to continue this site and put the effort into compiling information for this anime was non-existent.
Fortunately, I have an archival version up on this site for you to view. Note: The archival version of Cloud Age Symphony does not contain some of the heavier media to save space. Also, as stated before, this site is very much incomplete.

Rogue Squadron

RogueSquadron.net is a very special web site for me as I have been with the forum of that site since September 1999. For my 10th anniversary there I decided to completely redesign the site as well as write up all of the content and compile all of the information about the Rogue Squadron series by Factor 5 and LucasArts.
Star Wars Forums @ LucasForums.com

www.lucasforums.com/forumdisplay.php?f=436
The staff at LucasForums finally put up my theme for the Star Wars Forums three whole years after I first submitted it to them. It’s not really a full design as much as it is a custom colour scheme and banner. Either way, the folks who frequent the forum really appreciate it and absolutely love the banner I came up with. Personally, I love it too because it captures the six Star Wars movies so well.
StarWarsMMO.net

www.starwarsmmo.net
StarWarsMMO.net is part of the LucasArts Fan Network
and is dedicated to the massively multiplayer online game, Star Wars: The Old Republic by LucasArts and BioWare. I’m quite proud of the work I did on this site and am glad I got the chance to work on it. Note: The flash bit on the home page was not made by me, I only made the web site design, the coding, as well as the debugging.
Twilight Lynk

www.twilightlynk.com
Twilight Lynk is a video game community and blog site, as well as my home on the net. I hope to gather a good group of people who share my passion of video games and who don’t mind hearing my opinions about a few things as well as voicing their own.
Art Gallery
Aside from web design, I’ve had my hand in some other works which you can see listed below. You can find most of this stuff on my deviantArt page
as well.
General
Here are some images I can’t really place in anywhere else…
Hand Drawn
Here are a few hand drawn images I have done… there aren’t many though because I’m not very good with anything hand drawn.
Interfaces
Here are some interfaces I’ve designed for various things.
Pixel Art
Here are a few pixel art pics I’ve made whenever I’ve been bored and just wanted something to do.
Vector Art
I really like creating vector art. I find using Adobe Illustrator to be really fun for some reason…
Wallpapers
Here are some wallpapers I created long ago. Note: These are all in 800×600 resolution. I do have the original larger versions but these are only for show and not use… unless you have a 800×600 resolution screen.
Web Comics
I had a web comic series on my old web site, The Anime Crisis Center based on anime. We called it “Crisis Management” and despite my lack of drawing skills, I still managed to cheat my way through a few episodes by vectoring them up.
Of course, there are a lot of other episodes in the series which other people have drawn up for me. Lucky for you, I have an archival version of the Crisis Management site available. Just follow the link below.

Flash Gallery
I’ve done a few flash based programs and videos and such in my time, though most of them were done back when I was at uni learning multimedia. I do have at least one that I’ve made in the years after though…
C3F XD!
This is a fun flash video that I never finished… and probably never will finish, though you never know. It’s a parody of the opening of an anime called “Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei” and it features myself as well as many of the members from The Anime Crisis Center Community Forums, aka C3F. Here are some previews pics as well as a link to download the incomplete video below.
