Lame topic but what the hell, what type of monitor do you guys have at the moment? For me I have a 22" Samsung 226BW widescreen. To be honest, I only bought this monitor because I saw it at my friend's house and it looked cool XD but I did do some searching around on other monitors before that and was actually looking at getting an ASUS 22".

Yep that is the same monitor I have, I have it hooked up to my laptop for dual screen goodness. It's pretty nice, don't have any complaints.

I have a Samsung SyncMaster 970P 19" as my main monitor and a Sony Bravia LCD TV 40" as my second monitor.

I only have one complaint, you can't set the monitor to face you at an angle. You can only spin it around XD. I saw Samsung released another model similar to this that includes this feature but I don't wanna fork out another $300-$400 for it.

I gotta say the monitor is good for watching h.264 encoded anime (especially if it's in widescreen) and the occasional anamorphic music videos.

You can do all sorts of things with my monitor. I can have it spinning in all directions and at all kinds of angles if I wanted lol. It's really useful for my setup too since I like to lay my monitor down flat when I'm watching movies on my HDTV.

19'' samsung syncmaster 932

I actually bought a 17'' samsung i-dont-remember-which but after some months of use it got a "dark zone" in the screen, so the guarantee gave me the one above.

I also have a 19" Samsung SyncMaster, but I have the 906BW with 2ms GTG response time. Epilepsy makes it hard (at least for me) to tolerate 5ms+ response times at close proximity, plus this monitor is fantastic for both video and gaming...it's the best TV in the house

I've gotta say, it would be *really* hard to convince me *not* to buy another Samsung LCD when it comes time to replace or upgrade this one...I love it to death...though I do wish I hadn't gotten it in reflective piano black.

Yeah, when it comes down to it, Samsung make kick ass PC monitors. You can't go wrong with them.

I'd like to get a new monitor some time... a bigger one, but the one I have right now is really flexible and can swivel and lay flat and go every which direction while 99.9% of other monitors can't... so I'm sticking with this monitor for a long time it seems.

Yeah they are definitely my favorite brand. I would definitely get another Samsung if I ever got a new monitor.

I have an LG FLATRON something or other. It's very nice, gets a little hot though.
So, have you heard?
