You can play the following Mech, this is a nice change, playing a large amount, But I would have liked to see them focus on one mech class such as the VF-1 and focus more on the game play and story, maybe focusing on one series story line

MBR-04-Mk.IV Tomahawk
ADR-04-Mk.X Defender
SDR-04-Mk.XII Phalanx
MBR-07-Mk.II Spartan

VF-1A Valkyrie (一般 version)
VF-1J Valkyrie (Ichijyo version)
VF-1J Valkyrie (Max version)
VF-1J Valkyrie (Milia version)
VF-1J Strike Valkyrie ('82)

SDF-1 Macross

* Macross: Do You Remember Love? (1984)

VF-1J Strike Valkyrie ('84)
VF-1J Armored Valkyrie (Hikaru Ichijyo version)
VF-1S Valkyrie (Fokker version)

* Macross Plus (1994)

VF-11B Thunderbolt
VF-11C Thunderbolt (一般 version)
YF-19 Excalibur (Isamu version)
YF-21
Ghost X-9

* Macross Seven (1994)

VF-11C Thunderbolt

If only I had a PSP, I'd get it. It'd be cool to pilot a VF-25 or VF-27.

Good reference to Star Trek: Generations.

I've played a few games, myself. Ace Combat 04, Top Gun for the PS2,Crimson Skies: High Road to Revenge (even though it's not a jet combat game, it is still a flying game, lol), and Secret Weapons Over Normandy.

I also beat Ace Combat 04 on Ace difficulty, btw. But still, I'd love to play against you
sometime.

Speaking of war games, and I apologize for going off-topic, but have you ever played the board game Flames of War? Flames of War

Well, personally, I just find them fun. Plus, it's funny to hear the other player's comments in person as opposed to hearing them in an online game.

Anyways, back on topic. I personally prefer the YF-19 over the VF-19.

It would be cool to kick Brera's butt in Guld's YF-21.

You could import it. Remember PSP is region free, it WILL play on your PSP if you have one. I'm tempted to buy a PSP just for this game, but personally I'd rather this game was on Wii... Because...

As for a storyline, etc... I think Robotech Battlecry did a good job with that for the most part. Focusing on Jack Archer was a really good idea.

I have an idea though. Maybe instead of trying to recreate, say, the original TV series... why don't they make an alternate universe version? A videogame of the First Space War in videogame form kinda like how DYRL? is a historical drama movie made about that time...

Also, what the hell? Where are the Macross Zero ones? Those bastards.

*Looks at the list of pilots at the official site*

Cool, Milia, Klan, and Ozma are playable. Wait, when did Minmay become
a pilot? Am I missing something?

That's because it's a list of CHARACTERS, not PILOTS.

That still doesn't make them pilots... this is a Japanese site and I've seen plenty of Japanese sites mislabel stuff in English.

They're probably just passengers in some missions.

Hmmm...ok. Interesting...

Has anyone seen that green level design on the offical site? Is that
the interior of a Zentreadi warship?

I want this game, only because I would like to play another Macross title. Macross VF-X I think was the name of the PS1 title that got cancelled back in the day, and I remembered enjoying the demo for that.

Robotech: Battlecry was a fun game though
