Giving this place some exposure

This place is still pretty new and the first steps of a web site like this can be extremely tough... I've invested probably a little too much into this place so I'd like for it to find success and I think you guys can help me with that.

Tell your friends about this place, get them to join. If you go to other forums or websites that have some kind of discussion area, post up threads to make people aware of this place.

The best way to do this is by linking people to articles I've written and maybe interesting discussion threads we're having in other forums.

Here's an example thanks to darky: So who is the true pioneer in casual gaming? Sony or Nintendo? - AnimeSuki Forum

...just don't quote the entire article like darky has done. Make people come to the site, even if there's no guarantee that they'll join the forum.

Also, submit articles from this site to videogame blogs. A lot of them will probably brush them off because this place is still new and small, but who knows, we may get lucky.

Every little bit helps.

You mean the yellow boxes with the number of diggs in it?

I've actually submitted the first article: Digg - Wii Would Like to Play PS2

I'll see what I can do at the various forums that I visit, at least I can always advertise in my signature.

I'm going to try to write as many articles as I can, but I'm finding it hard to at the moment because I spent almost three weeks doing nothing but setting this site up... which means it's been almost three weeks since I've spent time playing videogames... so I'm kind of trying to catch up on some quality gaming time lol.

I'm about to write another article now which I think you'll find interesting... at least that's the entire point of writing these articles

I wonder if this'll pull more members.

*cough* PS2... not PS3... and also, the article did get some publicity, but it ran cold after a couple of days. I got the second article up on GoNintendo but because the second article didn't cause a shitstorm, we didn't get many people interested in it... hmm

No, I'm trying to get this place running on its own legs. Refer to my post in the other forum about what I said about C3F and this place.

Yeah, apparently I'm Iron Man... and Batman... and apparently EVERYONE is OP. Also... XD My name was used in a meme lol.

As for what happened in here... well, about the only thing that happened is that a whole bunch of people came in and looked around. Four people from /b/ joined, but that's about it. The didn't post or anything.
