I voted for him. Definitely glad he won, and by such a large margin too.

Pretty awesome huh

Haha the pic Lynk posted is pretty hilarious, I'm away from home at college, and I never got my absentee ballot in the mail, so I sort of stopped paying attention, bad on me I know. Between the two candidates we had though, I wouldn't have had a major problem if either of them had won, but I most likely would have voted for Obama, so I guess you could say I'm pleased...

I just hope he has what it takes to fix the problems of today's world.
Keep your fingers crossed.

Now that Obama is the new president, I wonder how some of the members here feel about his policies and stances. Particularly if he's to start withdrawing American troops from Iraq and Afghanistan since some are in the military force. Would it seem like all the effort you put in on the war in the middle eastern countries had been pointless and time wasted?

If Kiai was here then I'd be interested in her views the most considering he posts about her time in the military.

It makes sense for the US, but it wouldn't make sense for a country like Australia that has such a small population compared to you guys. If we were to make voting something that's optional then the actual number of people who would vote out of the number of eligible voters in this country would be EXTREMELY low.

I wonder if Puff Daddy or P Diddy or whatever his name is still went around telling people to vote this election.

And to continue the trend: In some countries, men are paid to have sex with with virgins, but not here, WTF?
