Looks like at least Japan will be getting more DLC, and though it is still focused around Eddy, who isn't really my favorite character, more DLC is always nice.

Side note: Jeff steal a PS3 and buy this game.

Another article... mostly just a poster pic or something and some screen caps. Interesting thing to note is that the poster pic features characters that are part of the anime cast, so perhaps it's going to be tied in with the anime story.

I don't get how anyone likes Edy... at all.

They are Japanese people, they don't conform to your Australian mindset... but yea I don't like Edy either, she's not even good in the game.

I've been catching up on the anime I'm up to episode 17, it's about the battle at Mulberry Beach, those that have played the game should know what that means...

I've completely forgotten about the anime, I need to catch up on it this weekend or something...

I watched up to episode 15. Man i need more episode of this.

Anyway I think the anime is far enough in where I can safely say that while it definitely doesn't rank up there with my favorite anime, it also could have been much much worse since it is a game adaption and all. I most enjoy the parts where they flesh out the characters and add more back story than you get in the game, but I wish they did more of it.

I mean we got to know Susie and Jan a little better through the anime, but we haven't seen a lot of Marina, Oscar, Emile, Karl, etc. who are also in the anime. As far as for them following the plot of the game, I'm not fond of the parts that they change a lot, though I can see why they changed those particular parts (abduction of Cordelia for example), but I love when they add little nuances to the story, a particular scene involving Rosie and a doll from episode 17 comes to mind. Anyway, I'll definitely keep watching to the end of the anime, and I can't wait for the next VC game to come out as well.

Rough Valkyria Chronicles 2 Character Art Inks Its Way Out

Art looks pretty cool looks very anime inspired which is to be expected I guess, 1st guy looks like a male Varrot. The crazy Valkyrur chick with the freaking ragnite whip and cat/bunny ears seems to be the villain, since she is wearing red predominately. I'm not sure I like her design, but it is rough art so we'll see, what I find most interesting about her design, is that she is a she. So either, male Valkyrur's don't exist or the dev's just go with females for the sex appeal.

New VC DLC 'early 2010'

Another Edy based DLC, Japan already has it and it was cheaper than the previous DLC, so I hope that stays true for us. More VC is always a good thing.

Valkyria Chronicles 2 gameplay footage looks as good as we want it to be

I think it looks great, some of the earlier screenshots had me a bit concerned, but I think it made the transition to the PSP nicely. I hadn't heard about this "branching-class system" before, that sounds pretty interesting.
