I knew the gameplay wouldn't really be affected, it's a pretty simple concept... what concerns me is that it's not going to feel anywhere near as epic.

it is, on the plus side though, there is some more original Valkyria Chronicles DLC coming out sometime early next year.

Which is a problem that can be easily resolved with a trip to your local Wal-mart/Vidya Retailer...

Yeah... the thing is that not everyone can afford one and not everyone lives in a country where such things are anywhere near affordable. Plus, even with the price drop, PS3 is too expensive

mega-bump, so VC2 is out worldwide, and I'll prolly write up something in much depth when I complete the story. I'm about 70-ish hours in on my first play-through, quite a bit longer than the original. Anyway for those that have been paying attention it's been quite obvious that VC3 is going to be officially unveiled/announced tomorrow at TGS. However, somewhat new news is that it appears VC3 will be on the PSP again...

I believe this hinges on an issue of Famitsu that lists VC3 as a PSP game, and I've also heard that it'll be released in January (likely in Japan) and that it'll feature a whole new cast of characters and a new story. For now this is all conjecture, I suppose we'll find out for sure tomorrow @ TGS.

While personally I would have much preferred the series return to the PS3, after seeing the PSP effort of VC2 I still have faith that I'll enjoy VC3 immensely, on PSP or otherwise.

Valkyria Chronicles III is a PSP game, coming January 27- Destructoid

Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo... I was hoping it'd be for PS3... I'm sure VC2 is awesome on PSP, but I really loved the presentation of the first game on the PS3.

Nah, I'll be buying one some time at the end of the year... so far the only games I really want for it are VC2 (and 3 now), MGS Peace Walker and Macross Ultimate Frontier...

But yeah... I wish they had've had this one for PS3 instead... I mean, the first game looked so damn awesome and the art style and effects were just awesome. I want to be able to have more Valkyria Chronicles on the big screen
