Who has it? I just dloaded it now as I was about to play the demo of DBZ Burst Limit.... I'm making my Mii... I mean, avatar right now.

EDIT: Hmm... I don't care what they say, this isn't as customisable as Mii's are.

EDIT 2: The "Experience" itself is pretty good... a strange mix of the Wii Channels + the Sony XMB... of course I knew this already cause I loled @ seeing it when they showed it off @ E3.

To be honest... even though it's such a shameless rip... I kinda like it this way...

Meh I got it...

Personally I think the new version of Xbox is going to take some getting used to, IMO its a shameless rip of Wii.

Since I've been using the Wii channels and Sony XMB a lot, I'm quite used to it already.

It's also funny how Microsoft force downloads the update too lol.

Yeah thats one of the things that pissed me off about this, all the other updates have been minor changes now they suddenly go and completly redesign it, and sometimes if you dont update then you cant get onto XBL

Well it's not that bad. I mean you do get some neat new features like being able to copy games onto the HDD.

You have an Xbox 360 now!? That's awesome!

Feel free to send me a message sometime, I have a direct connection at the moment that I put between my 360 and computer, but I intend to go online to get Mega Man 9 and the new King of Fighters game in due time.

And yes, it is funny how Microsoft is taking something from the Wii, but in turn Sony took something from Microsoft by adding achievements (not that I personally cared for them when I had my 360, I'm just stating what I noticed).

I hope to get a Wii or PS3 in due time though.

Yeah, the trophies are pretty lame. Sony is going to get all developers to implement them next year as standard, but few games right now support them.

I need to get a PSP now... and a Dreamcast, and a Genesis/MegaDrive and a Master System, and a PlayStation, and a Saturn, and a GameBoy Color... and... well you get the idea.

A lot of the systems I have are childhood purchases that I never let go, with the exception of the Sega Saturn, which I burned some cash through Ebay to get some great games for. Same goes with my Sega CD, that stuff wasn't cheap.

PSPs are pretty fun, but the selection of PSP games is not as great as the DS. I haven't played my PSP as much as my DS for the record, so I think waiting on one of those wouldn't be such a bad thing. ^_- (I'm trying to beat Mega Man Powered Up however)

And thanks for sending a friend request!

Maybe they are lame, but they were a necessary addition, if only so in the near future we can stop with the bitching about X360 ports having achievements, its become tiresome. On the bright side Sony has been pondering turning the points or levels or what have you, into a reward system of sorts, whether that be getting DLC for free or something like that, I guess we'll have to wait and see.

I got's one, it's a fun little handheld, there are some great games out there for it, but the last couple and the next few months look a little bleak. Here's to hoping for some surprise sleeper hits though.

If they do implement the thing where you get free DLC and stuff, then it's great... otherwise, you just can't beat Microsoft's system.

I know there are some good games for the PSP, but when I try to think of one, I can't. I mean, the DS just has tonnes of must have games, but the PSP only has, "good games" at best for me. Still, I'd like to get one for the few good games at least.

Microsoft: NXE Avatar clothing updates will be free ... for now - Joystiq

That's nice to know... but then that's not so nice to know as well. We all knew they'd get us to pay for these kinds of things. After all, they get you to pay for custom gamer pics which sucks pretty hard.

It does, I've purchased enough themes and gamer pics to say the least, and I usually prefer using anime pics for avatars and themes and such (right now I have a Rumble Roses XX Theme).

I do love to rip music cds onto the system once in a while and listen to some personal stuff while playing a game. However, I do play some Xbox titles that have some great soundtracks all the same, like Wartech: Senko no Ronde, and Ridge Racer 6.

*shivers* I get nervous when I put my consoles vertical, so I just leave them horizontal, though my old 1st generation PS2 needs to be vertical in order to work... it's odd

Nah, it's okay. The technology is good enough now that you don't have to worry about damage to your discs or anything.

Mine's horizontal, mostly because I tend to drop the disc when I try putting it in vertically (basically, my coordination sucks! XD)

ohh boy here we go with more "they used nintendo's or sony's idea"

much the same way many people said that sony took the powerbutton on wireless controllers idea from microsoft, i really do not see the point in having to point these things out, as it doesnt really make a difference, manufacturers will use anything and everything to sell their consoles, so in a sense, id say that each console is ripping off each other in some sense, and thats all i got to say in my 2 cents

(EDIT: btw, the xbox experience is alot better than the old dashboard, the old dashboard was so boring, i hated the sliding side to side panels)
