Ban Multiplayer!!!!

So you read the thread title, well don't get me wrong. I don't want to ban Multiplayer completely, I love the old fashion split screen games.

Okay... Today I used my Xbox live for the first time, and I really had fun. While I may not be the best player on the games, I like to think that I try to do the best I can while I'm playing a game.

So what I find annoying with multiplayer is one of two things.

First is people who nothing to say other then Bitching, One of my games this afternoon was ruined; It started when a Kid logged on and kept talking into the in game communication. Well that really wasn't the problem. I got nothing wrong with people using the Com or kids logging onto an older rated game.
Its other people... who uses the Com to flame people just because that their under age.
Well.... I reported him, even if the other person is underage; there no need to call a kid that type of language he used. God I thought I left that behind in Counterstrike.

Next.... are Friendly killers, Guys for no reason who kill their own bloody team mates.... I was using an Anti Aircraft gun, which in an in game heavy piece of equipment at one of the bases. This Guy comes along from my team and starts shooting me. The bastard killed me, well even if it cost me points... I was going to return the favour.
I respawned back at base, and gave him a RPG shell to the head.

Does anyone else have this kind of problem or is it only me?

That is what it is. That is EXACTLY what it is. Don't bother trying to get a decent experience out of it because most of the people you come across are absolute arseholes. The key is to rely the people on your friends list because those are the people who really matter and the best people to play with on Xbox Live.

I think that exactly why I left steam, I know not to trust any of my team mates unless I know them else wear..... Anyway I don't think either side works as a team so I don't think it a problem. I just like to blow stuff up, at now least i got a Mortar Radio to unleash hell on Assholes....

I know you said the mics aren't the problem, but if you want to play without having to worry about mics, just get a PS3, nobody has a mic or if they do they don't use them, so problem solved.

Bah, the Mortar Strike radio stinks, now the sniper's Laser Designator... that is where the fun is at, point that sucker at people in tanks and watch them flee!

Also, if there are idiots on PSN, at least you didn't have to pay to get abused.

yeah, only play with your friends list people, otherwise you'll get bored and annoyed pretty fast. at least that's how it is for me.

Yeah that's why my 360 just stays unconnected to the internet except when I need to update or something. If I want multiplayer, I'll invite some buds over and we can eat, drink, and shoot stuff....not always in that order.

Well you could always shoot them a pm or vm on here. Since we're a community it's easy to communicate. Just ask mav187 and eva, they started playing Resistance 2 together.

Let's hope it turns into something more :3

Well I had an idea, with your permission Lynk I have an idea for a Monthly Multiplayer system. On the weekends of each month we set up a Multi player game at a set time.

E.G. 9PM GMT = 7AM UTC +10 Melbourne

For each month we select a 360 Multiplayer game, Jan - Bad Company, Feb GTA IV, March - Resistance 2. And on the set time we log on as a Party group and play

i do moderate on that server, or at least report asshats, which get promptly banned for a period of time.

heck did that last night to, you guess it, mic spammer.
no one wants to hear someone elses stupid music while playing... god.

That's cause nobody likes Steam , no but personally I had CS:Source installed on my computer at one time, went to some server with a bunch of mods that downloaded themselves, long story short I ended up having to reformat my entire PC, it sucked.
