Another 2009 game update, sort of,
Killzone 2 got a 9.4 from IGN, 9.0 IGN-AU. In short, the review mentions that the story is somewhat weak at times, but definitely provides the player with motivation to continue playing. The main campaign spreads over 8-10 hours, which is fair for a FPS I'd say. The voice acting had good parts and weak parts, namely excessive use of profanity for shits and giggles, but the sounds of warfare are "great". Hmmm, it also mentions that the multi-player is extremely deep and engaging. Overall it sounds pretty good, I'll probably end up getting it, because a couple of my friends are planning to. The only thing that I dislike is the lack of a co-op mode, in these times of gaming, for FPS games, co-op mode is practically a must, so I'm disappointed Killzone 2 lacks that.
