Ok, Lynk et al, I've been neglecting my DS for a while now, I haven't really played it since... hmmm one of the Ace Attorney games. Anyway are there any games in particular that you all recommend I look into getting?

What games do you have?

The two most recent DS games I've gotten are Hotel Dusk Room 215 and Castlevania Order of Ecclesia, both excellent titles, highly recommended. I also have Phantom Hourglass, Pokemon Diamond, New Super Mario Bros., and Assassin's Creed Altair's Chronicles, the last one in there is definitely the worst out of the bunch, I enjoy all the other games I have. I've been borrowing Final Fantasy III from somebody for a while and it's very good but I haven't played it in a while now, I'd be interested in getting IV after I beat it.

Ok lets see.... I have Pokemon D&P... (that sounds wrong for some reason ), Zelda: Phantom Hourglass, "New" Super Mario Bros., FFIII, FF Tactics A2, FF XII RW, Trauma Center: UtK, and the usual Brain Age. I've also played one of the Ace Attorney games, I think it was the first one your boss lady dies in the beginning, but I didn't like it that much, it was good to kill time though.

Edit: Oh and I'm like 90% sure I have The World Ends With You, if I don't then it's because I left it at my other house...

You're lying, no one doesn't like the Ace Attorney series! It has great gameplay, great art, great humour and is simply EPIC! (And yeah, sounds like you got the first one)...

...but now that you say you don't like Phoenix Wright... I don't know what to recommend you... x.x

If you like turn-based tactics, i recommend luminous arc 2. its good, or at least i liked it better than the first one. also, i liked unsolved crimes, a bit short but entertaining.

Alright, thanks for the suggestions, sorry to disappoint you Lynk they're good games, but I don't know, I just didn't really get into it, maybe if I find them in the bargain bins I'll give it another go.

i think you should give another go. to be honest, the first game doesn't really get good til probably the fourth or last case. but you should play it cause trials and tribulations(the third game) is awesome, and you need to get to know the characters beforehand.

[EDIT]: I just remembered of another good game. its only released in japan, so you'll need to order it. its called "Meccha! Taiko no Tatsujin DS: 7-tsu no Shima no Daibouken". Its fun, and i don't think you'll even need to know japanese to play. And it has some anime songs as well.

i've played this one for quite some time, if you enjoy FFT A2, i would bet you'd love this one.

it originated on PS2, then they remade it for PSP and DS about the same time

if you want i can link a gameplay vid, but the only good one i've found is EXTREMELY LOUD, so be forwarned if i am linking it

Yea I already have Disgaea on my PSP, maybe I shoulda mentioned that. It's a great game, but I don't know how people can play it until their characters reach level 9999... seems ridiculous, lol

Now that you've taken a second look at Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney... time to buy Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney Justice For All and Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney Trials and Tribulations... and then Apollo Justice Ace Attorney

Ha, we'll see about that, I'm waiting on my next paycheck until I decide what I have available, all those PS2 games that I got recently have set me back quite a bit. I'll check out the used games section the next time I go to Gamestop though

Justice For All has, what has to be the most epic episode in the entire Ace Attorney series and Trials and Tribulations is hands down the best of the series... I know you'll get them you can't not.
