Well with Platinum being released stateside this past Sunday, and set for release in EU in a couple months (5/22) it's time to talk Pokémon again. I have still not made it to the second gym in Platinum, kind of taking my time as I don't want to get burnt out on the grind that is training.

I would also love to see a Gold/Silver remake, I really hope those are the next set of games as it would follow how red and blue were remade in the GBA generation. So it seems like the logical next step if they are going to continue to follow the same formula. Though I would love to see a complete revamp of the series really, same basic principle but with a 3D world and no random encounters.
We will have to talk lineups and movesets, etc once we beat the game Mav. I am kind of a noob at that stuff but would like to get some battles in with you guys.

Yeah well you got me into the idea. 
In Diamond I kind of browsed different forums looking for tips on that kind of stuff but it was kind of too late, I already had a very high level group and they weren't done right so besides fixing some moves I didn't do much with them. So once i beat the regular game with my starter and whatever group I have I'm gonna work on breeding a good team.
