As most of you know, I used to run an anime site and we talked about plenty of anime So I thought, why not try to get some anime discussion going in here too...

Lately I've been stuck on episode 256 of One Piece... I know that the anime series is upto episode 396 at the moment so I'm pretty far behind, but eh it doesn't matter. I've been rewatching the sereis from episode 1 to pass the time, I'm on episode 180 at the moment in the middle of the Skypeia arc.

I've also been looking around at a few other animes like Valkyria Chronicles and the new FMA series... I also watched the first few minutes of Dragon Ball Kai before I realised it wasn't a remake but a recut of Dragonball Z lol.

I'm also waiting for the Macross Frontier movie to be released...

Recently I bought a One Piece movie on DVD but then I realised there was also a Blu-ray version of it out as well... unfortunately there is no Australian release for it so I wouldn't be able to play it on my PS3... but I've decided from now on that I'm not buying anything unless it's an Australia release Blu-ray disc.

Bleach is the only thing I have been following recently really. It sucks, it was just at an awesome arc, the Vizard history arc and now it's back to stupid fillers. Only lasted a few episodes seemed like.

I am currently downloading Toradora! and K-ON!, don't know too much about either but I haven't watched anything new in a while and they look good enough.

Macross movie needs to come out! I was thinking it would have long been out by now. Loved Frontier, but the ending was meh so hopefully the movie will wrap some things up.

And then I will undoubtedly check out the new FMA, though I haven't read much about it.

I guess the only anime I watched before coming here would have been Dragonball Z, Naruto Shippuden, Bleach, and Cowboy Bebop you know the more well known/mainstream stuff. I'm still sort of following Shippuden and Bleach, but I'm more so reading the manga for those now. After being introduced to some new stuff though by the folks here like, Haruhi, Gurren Lagann, Macross, and then just recently Last Exile I'm definitely starting to get into it more. So this will be an awesome place to look for new things to watch.

I know I'll have to watch One Piece eventually or Lynk will rip my eyes out. For right now though, I'm going to try following the new Valkyria Chronicles anime adaption and watch the original FMA which I have not seen yet.

Well I didn't even watch the most recent episode after seeing the whole thing was more KARAKURA RISER!!! bullshit.

Watched the first episode of K-ON!, it was pretty funny, I think it's only on episode 2 so I will probably follow the series as long as it keeps me entertained.

I've been watching some shows a friend recommended to me - Rozen Maiden and DearS

Rozen Maiden really surprised me, I had seen art from the show and heard people mention it, but I never really paid any attention to it. But it turned out to be a great show, so what if it's about dolls... they're badass dolls. I got hooked on this one, finished watching both seasons and the OVA in less than a week.

DearS... well, it's total fanservice and probably an otaku dream show. But I loved the humor and it's a very nicely made series, only downer is that the manga wasn't fully animated, so there's a lot more to the story that I don't know.

I really want to watch the second season of Fist of the North Star next, I plowed through 109 episodes to finish the first season in a real short amount of time because I was just hooked on it. I just had to take a break to watch something different.

EDIT: Moel, that avatar is hilarious. Haha!

I'm following Bleach myself, but the series as become quite dreadful. At this point, I'm hoping it's end is near. I would have dropped it if I wasn't interested to see how it'll end. I'm surprised people haven't notice how bad Bleach has become or how Ichigo always major to find a different type of power to defeat his current enemy. The power ranking of characters simply doesn't make sense in this anime at all.

Toradora! is tsundere romance anime. It seem to be a huge hit. I enjoyed the entire series, but wasn't too high on how the final episodes turned out. Still, a very good romance comedy in my book.

I highly doubt a movie will help the ending of Frontier.

Shirley should have died in my opinion. It's ridiculous how her life was saved.

Still, I love forward to the movie nonetheless.

Anyway, I'm watching a ton of series.

If you're interested in seeing how many series I'm watching at the moment. It's 18, that's including a OVA.

Many things remain unexplained in Bleach.

I rather have a bed.

Not to mention I rarely rewatch series/movies/OVA's. Not just anime, but TV shows and movies, too. I rather watch some thing I haven't watched than rewatch some thing.

Well I watched the second episode of K-on and I like it pretty well so far, I'll follow the series as long as it keeps me entertained. And then I watched the first episode of Toradora, was good enough to make me want to watch the second. I think that series is already pretty far or over already, so I can pretty much just marathon that one, except I don't have time right now. x.x

New Shakugan no Shana Anime in Development Revealed (Updated) - Anime News Network

Dengeki Bunko Magazine Cover

Have to post about this since I am a fan of the series XP. Really curious on what they mean by the project is "restarting" as in they're gathering all the production staff and casts for a new season or they're gonna do a remake of the series.

The second season didn't really provide much closure to the story and I felt the ending was rather rushed through so I'm hoping it's a new season than a remake, after all, they still have quite a number amount of materials from the light novels to adapt from.

If you keep up with fan-subbing releases almost seasonly you can really tell whats going to be a let down for that part of the year; I.E. the fan service disaster that is Queens Blade. Couple good ones to check out are of course K-on, Haruhi 2, Basquash, and Cross Game. Of course there are many others, but these I think hold the gold for ongoing series of the first anime semester of 2009.

Okay, I do remember ripping my LD copy of Scramble Wars and converting it into a DVD VOB file for C3F ages ago but is this file the same one I ripped?

Also, I find it funny how just yesterday someone had discovered the Scramble Wars soundtracks and audio drama I uploaded on my livejournal over a year ago. I'm honestly surprised that the links still work.
