Milia time... must remember Milia because of Komilia and not Miria...

Everything is 1/60 scale in those pics... though I'm pretty sure Milia may be a little bit shorter than she should be.

Also, here's a reference guide for Zentradi size inconsistencies, etc...

Sheryl sells mascara

Jeebus... terrible cross-promotion using the cover art from the Pink Monsoon single.

It's difficult to taste a persons cooking when they're in a different area code.

Anyway, damn the VF-19kai is so well made...

...buuuuuut I think I can pull off a more extreme action pose... let's try *goes to repose*

EDIT:

Much better...

30th anniversary next year... the year the SDF-2 launched... from some hints that have been dropped by Graham over at Macross World there's a rumour going around that Yamato may be releasing a 1/60 scale VF-4 Lightning III as seen in Macross Flashback 2012...

This year they've been releasing Macross R: The Ride which is a serialized novel printed in Dengeki Hobby... basically it's a side story that's not really all that important (still, I hate the fact that I'll probably never get to read it). It's basically designed to potentially sell custom Valkyrie models.

Hopefully there's going to be a new Macross anime released next year. It probably won't be a full TV series like Frontier, chances are it'll be an 3-5 episode OVA like Plus and Zero.

ok, I watched it, the overall plot I liked but I didn't really enjoy the show as a whole.

stuff that turned me off:
- It REAL pissed me off that Alto could pilot the Messiah while under fire for the first time just like if it were nothing. Hikaru was already an excellent pilot yet couldn't handle it without training, it was similar for the other guy in Zero. But whatever, I guess high schools in space colonies do have combat training.
- also, LOL HIGH SCHOOLERS PILOTING SPACE FIGHTERS
- the portrait of military as useless cowards, while idolising mercenaries.
- the role of the Nightmares as cannon fodder, is a nice mech yet you mostly see it being blown to bits
- how come the valkyries are neatly detailed while the Queadlunns look like plastic toys?
- the horribly disproportionate tits were necessary? :/
- the love triangle is never resolved. WHAT.
