I stumbled onto this pic looking for nice fan art relating to Dead Space, but as soon as I saw it, I thought, now that's awesome, but that team is missing a very important and key component to be awesome. The fallout dude should be replaced by Samus....
So I was wondering... if you could make up your own perfect video game character team of ultimate badassery that could not be stopped and would work together to take out all of those alien/zombie/bad guy scum of the universe... who would you have in that team? Doesn't have to be hard-ass military-esc types like in the pic, but let's see what you guys come up with.
Okay, I'll go first, but this team won't be very original considering that pic, but it's an example...
Commander Shepard: With his or her Mass Effect 2 armour. He or she would be the leader of the group since he/she has great command experience and gets shit done.
Master Chief: He'd obviously be the point-man since he's heavily armoured and well armed and can also improvise with enemy weaponry when he can get his hands on them.
Samus Aran: The scout. Of course, she's basically her own personal army, but she would best work as a scout since out of all of the team members, she's the one that can get through the terrain with the greatest of ease, scout out areas on her own and use her wide variety of tactical weaponry to create vantage points.
Isaac Clarke: The engineer of the group who can also use his engineering skills and tools as dead weapons. When resources are low, he'll be able to come up with options that will allow the team to soldier on.
Big Daddy: Specifically the Big Daddy from BioShock 2 who is basically just a TANK.
Of course, I know you guys can come up with a lot more interesting teams than mine... and as I said before, don't be limited by guys with guns... there's a whole variety of characters out there... team up some RPG characters together or some ruin explorers... let's see what you've got.

I dunno, a reasonable number of people... not a small/huge army. I'd say the number of a squad... so I guess that'd be 10 max.

Kratos - He is my lead simply because he refuses to die, kills Greek gods for a living, tames Titan's, crawled back out of Hell...
Red - He has 493+ weapons at his disposal, all with varying abilities, strengths and weaknesses. Basically no matter what you throw at Red, he has a counter for it.
Snake - Experience, natural born killer, stealth; honestly I don't think I need to go on, his resumé speaks for itself.
Lightning - TnA of the team, plus she has military training, a gunblade and is able to use magic and heal, great combat support.
Nathan Drake - He provides the much needed lighthearted comedic relief in this group of srs bsns killers. He also has a knack for survivability and has that same situational awareness that Indy has.
Alicia Melchiott - She's an experienced scout and she can bake! Oh yeah, she also is a Valkyrian with numerous abilities such as blocking bullets, and healing like snappy quick.
Sephiroth - lol enemies don't stand a chance.

If it were Live action guys, it would SO be:
Capt. James T Kirk
- Cus he's so awesome, he doesn't believe in a "No Win Scenario"
MacGyver
- You need a way out or something made in a flash that can get out of one of those sticky situations?? Here's the guy you want on your team.
Corbin Dallas
- Knows how to use just about every gun and can pilot just about any space craft.
AND *drum roll*
Cmdr. John Crichton
- Human sarcasm VS superior alien knowledge and technology?? Come on, the more insane he gets the better he is.

Okay, here's my second set... just to show ya'll how it's done properly XP ...this team is all about the mean streets.
Duke Nukem: He's a baaad muther and with his collection of big guns and pipe bombs, Duke and his team of street wise bad asses will keep em clean with a nice splatter of blood.
Nico Bellic: He's a perfect right hand man, ready to get his hands dirty with the tough jobs and great with vehicles.
Travis Touchdown: He may be an otaku but he's also a god damned killing machine with his trusty beam katana.
Gordan Freeman: With his trusty crowbar and gravity gun, he's the perfect man for the job.
Faith: She may not run the streets themselves, but she keeps an eye on them from the tops of buildings.
Ezio Auditore da Firenze: You'll never see him coming and you'll never see him in the crowds after he's taken you down...

I was going to make a sweet picture with all of my team, but I couldn't find enough pictures with white backgrounds that were easy to work with. Anyways:
