I don't really see the point in having a blu-ray drive on a PC. My PS3 works perfectly fine to play bd movies.... so if there's any other reason I should have one, let me know and I'll consider it.

I really don't give a rats about the whole nvidia vs ati thing. I'm just going with what I want for the sake of going with what I want since it's just more comfortable that way.

Plus when you get right down to it, what's the real difference? A few frames per second more or less? Who cares? We'll all have to end up upgrading to new gear soon enough cause whatever we have now becomes obsolete.

To add to that, who gives a fuck about over-clocking and all that bullshit. If I wanted to faun over something high management that breaks down a lot, I'd get myself a girlfriend. That way I can get some more sex out of it rather than argue with some internet tough guys about who has the bigger graphics card.

Just as long as it allows me to play games at a high setting and doesn't break down, then whatever.

I mean, I've had a look around and it's hilarious reading the asshat comments of these nvidia nerds and ati nerds going at it trying to justify their purchases.

Better to actually PLAY your games than to argue about what kind of shaders and how many of them you have going and all that nonsense.

It's hilarious seeing people with all of those led crap in their cases. I don't really see the point in all of that either.

Anyway, gonna be going down to town and heading into the city to sort this stuff out...

EDIT: Put down the deposit for the stuff... all up it's costing me 2090AUD and I'll pick up all the components on Friday and put everything together that night.
