It is pretty cool, I haven't gotten that far into it yet but the story seems really interesting even though it's detached from what you're basically doing which is being a spider or scorpion and killing other bugs... it's really strange in a way to try to explain cause it sounds like you're doing absolutely nothing, but you feel like you're playing an adventure/brawler game.

Anyone got any games they're really eying for the winter 2009/10 time frame? Its suppose to be a HUGE holiday release schedule, especially for those of us with x box's...

Cause PS3 has no games... obviously.

How could I forget, cause nobody wants to play, Uncharted 2, A Crack in Time or Demon's Souls, along with all of the other multi-plat games... I don't know about the 360, so what exactly is 360 exclusive?

When it comes to multiplatform, most people have chosen the 360 to play those games...

as for PS3, the only game I'm looking forward to for it is Uncharted 2.

I got Suikoden 4 this week through eBay. Though, I haven't good things about the game and also not too fond by the fact that the custom six party team seems to have been reduce to four in 4, but I'm playing it nonetheless. I'll likely be buying Suikoden 5 or Tactics next.

it's...different, but i like it quite a bit so far.

I went to Wal-mart a few days ago and picked up Far Cry 2, so Jeff and Lynk wouldn't bitch at me for torrenting it. I can see why it's been getting mixed reviews, it most definitely has it's "wow" and fun moments, and then it also has it's annoying and stupid stuff. I guess I'll give some examples of each. Fun: it's open world, so you really get to choose how you go about a mission. There is a real sense of satisfaction when you literally spend 30 minutes, climbing a hill, scoping out the enemy area, marking down key points on your map (ammo piles, vehicles, sniper posts, etc.), coming up with a plan of attack and executing it to perfection, although most of the time it doesn't always work like you plan XD. Also, laying down IED's on a road and taking out convoy's from an overlooking rocky outcropping is strangely gratifying.

Then there is the annoying stuff, you can't drive down a road without getting attacked every 100 meters or so, and everybody with a gun, not only recognizes you as an enemy immediately from miles away, but they also shoot you on sight. All along the roads there are checkpoints too, and regardless of if you've just taken it out and killed everyone, if you drive past it not even 20 minutes later, it will be fully manned and ready to shoot at you again... these are African militiamen we're talking about, it's not like they can just air drop reinforcements. Also if you kill a guy, and pick up his gun, it's likely rusted, and will jam on you right in the middle of a fire fight, while kind of cool in a "hah neat realism" sort of way, it's mostly annoying. Game is still fun though.

Oh yeah... I found this outside my door tonight...



All I need to do now is catch a rattlesnake, maybe a praying mantis, and a fucking crocodile for sure, and have them battle to the death... Oh well I also have to gather my balls and go back outside and catch that spider, who I've decided to call "8-leg LeChuck"...

...i hate spiders...
