Right now I'm playing Gears of War on hardcore difficulty. I just played a match online, it seemed alright...sucked that half my team quit though.

I used to think the first Gears was aright... but now that I've played it more recently I think the hype has rubbed off and it seems pretty sucky now.

I agree with you, it took me a while to get into it without feeling 'ok, what the hell is the big deal here?' , but after playing a while and getting used to the cover system and controls, the only thing that really stands out is the dark atmosphere of it. I like the locust enemies, they just look nasty.

I should've played more Assassin's Creed this weekend but ended up watching Stand Alone Complex and doing other stuff lol.

I am pretty far in Assassin's Creed, I wish there was a way to use the bow & arrows, lame how it's on your character's back the whole time and you don't get to use it.

I don't know if I'll go through the effort of finding all the flags, that's just crazy.

Finally completed Ace Combat.... Hell of a game. Loved the Dog fights, overall needed a better plot line..... Flying down a rail gun Cannon..... Oh brother....

You either have to be really bored or a huge achievement whore to get all those. I am sure there are videos on youtube to make it easy, but I just don't think it's worth the time.

Past couple weekends I've played a bit of WoW. Also been playing a lot of Rock Band 2. Need to play more Fable 2 but haven't gotten around to it.

well, i can imagine it would be easier to get them if i wanted to scale every single building in the game...but after a while that gets boring. :P

Geist on the Gamecube and Star Fox Command on the DS

-Flew a virtual demonstration as the camera pilot for the virtual Flight Simulator X Blue Angels. Very, very close to the real thing. Even the solos are spot on!
-Trying to play through Tom Clancey's HAWX but missing the ace combat storyline from episode 5.
-Finally got around to playing Left 4 Dead. Why the hell didn't I pick it up sooner?

Playing Halo 3, got all the DLC so i figured, why not play a bunch. Just about completed the campaign on heroic (got the achievement but don't understand why, since I didn't finish that last level!!!) I think might end up going for the skulls and unlocking the metagame or whatever the hell it is, from what my friend was telling me, it sounds like fun.

Halo: ODST is coming out, i can't wait to check into that.

Also another halo game called reach in the works, so keep and eye for it also Apathy
