I also do know of a lot of Wii titles that are coming out which can't be ignored.
I'm afraid that I'm not the best person to talk to about the Wii. I do have one, but my friend has been borrowing it for the last couple of months, so I haven't been very diligent about paying attention to new and upcoming releases. I don't have many games for the Wii, Galaxy, Kart and Brawl are amazing, Mario Party 8 was somewhat disappointing, and I have still not finished Metroid Corruption. I'd be very interested to hear about some of the upcoming Wii games you're interested in since I'm pretty much out of the loop when it comes to the Wii.

It's been quite a long time since I posted this entry and the PS3 has had a lot more time to... "mature" I guess... aside from Uncharted 2, what else has PS3 got that is really worth it?

Are people still playing LittleBigPlanet after all this time? How did people really find Killzone 2? What other exclusives do we have that really stand out there?

PS3? I liked what I saw with Brutal Legend on it. I'm not sure I can tell too huge a difference between the games that are shared. Would like to see more for PS3 that are exclusive since that was the one I was originally gunning for at the beginning of the console wars.

Wii...No comment...

360: I only have one b/c my friend got it for me. Love the removable and replaceable hard drives. As far as a controller, get a madcatz (or joypad) if you plan to play a fighter game. Don't know whose idea it was but the controller is not exactly the best for fighter games like SF4.

As far as getting a 360: Hope you don't mind having to also buy a "intracooler" just to make sure it doesn't overheat too badly. Yet even so, this is, at best, an extension on its life. Yeah, it seems to really have the library of games down, but with the gems you also are bound to run into some real lemon duds. Haven't run into any yet but there is always time for mistakes.
I can assasinate someone for you, and that will cost you an arm and a leg, literally.

IIRC you can only use the HDD's that Microsoft specifically makes for the Xbox which to my understanding cost a bit more than a regular comparable HDD. With the PS3 you can swap out any 2.5" SATA HDD (i.e. laptop HDD) regardless of branding.

Xbox 360 120GB HDD = $149.99

500GB 2.5" HDD @ Newegg = $89.99

Don't particularly need 120GB HDD for the 360 in the first place though... only reason I end up filling my elite is cause I abuse the install feature for games... and really I don't even need to install the games considering that the load times are lower than the PS3 load times for the same game even when the PS3 version of the game gets you to do a mandatory install...

Agree, Microsoft really does have ridiculous prices for 360 accessories. Pretty sure I have used over half of my 360's 60gb hdd, I kind of wish I had gotten the elite, but it's not a huge deal.

I think it's more of a problem for people who have a lot of DLC.

Yeah I am guessing my Rock Band stuff takes up a lot, I have the entire RB1 setlist on my hdd plus a good amount of DLC songs. The only game I've used the install feature for is Resident Evil 5.

Between game installs, DLC and PSN games I'd have probably filled my 60GB drive by now. I bought a 500GB drive a while back so I could just install and forget.
