there are no such things as a top ten in my list, as i do not favor a game over another unless there's real good reason for me to.

that being said, i could list a whole bunch of games, but i'm not going to.

and who the hell here hasn't played crono trigger, seriously.

Edit: I was also thinking on buying Crono Trigger for the DS, but then I realized I got a save data on the PSX that says I have all the endings. Not sure if I really feel like doing that all over again.

Edit 2: For the person who hasn't played Crono Trigger, I refer you to this page:

Before other mav rages, it's because original mav isn't a console gamer... at all. I wonder... have you even played any console game?

One time on a friend's xbox360, we played a Resident Evil and a Call of Duty game, but it sucked because of the controls. That time my friends ended up playing a game about making stunts with quad bikes (which I didn't play since it was stupid)

Oh yeah, Resident Evil 5 is a game that purposefully has sluggish tank controls since it's trying to get players to think, pick vantage points, shoot at specific body parts instead of just running and gunning like in most other games where you shoot. The controls don't suck... well, they're not as good as the control that Dead Space has, but it's more a case of difference in gameplay than what people who haven't played RE before are used to.

Call of Duty on the other hand, I do agree that the controls would've sucked since, as an FPS of that kind, its best played on a PC.

As for the quad bikes game... dunno which game that was *shrugs*

I'm wondering how you'd go with a game like Super Mario Galaxy, though I think you'd find it too silly to play *thinks* ...but then what game, no matter what platform it is, isn't silly?

I think it was RE4 actually, you start in an old town with not-really-zombie people trying to mob you down with farm tools. We sucked at aiming that bloody pistol with the joystick and got mobbed every time, admittedly we were kinda playing it wrong, I noticed we would have used the furniture to block doors and windows a bit later.

The CoD game was Modern Warfare 2, and yes, even when you get the hang of the auto-aim thingy, it sucked a lot.

The quad-bike game was Pure which wasn't bad (my friends enjoyed it) but It wasn't my cup of tea.

Now that you mention Mario games, I also played on a Nintendo64 (edit: or it was a GameCube?, can't remember) when I was still on school. And Mario Cart was the only game we keep on playing, it was silly but enjoyable, at least if you are with friends, I'm not sure if I would play such games alone. Now my friend sold the N64 so no more carting.
